In the last 15 years, the use of child soldiers has spread to almost every region of the world and every armed conflict. Though an exact number is impossible to define, thousands of child soldiers are illegally serving in armed conflict around the world
The theme of this exhibit will be influenced by subjects pertaining to global humanitarian
and environmental crisis of this millennium. Participating artists are encouraged to create
art work that provokes thought and encourages the viewer to connect with the subject
through the exhibited piece.The agenda of this exhibit will be to create a conversation
about the selected subjects in hopes to bring awareness, education and unity through the
artistic vision of each artist. Some examples of subject material may include but are not
limited to police brutality, disease epidemics, environmental catastrophes, natural
disasters, and armed conflict to name a few.
